Well this was a super satisfying snack. Coconut Dream or Snowflake Bliss 🥥 ❄️ bowl: bananas 🍌 coconut milk 🥛 coconut shavings 🥥 I was thinking about covering it in almonds but I had a bunch today already and was feeling sort of over them. (Notice I did NOT say “I had too many” or any such nonsense. I am listening to what my body’s asking for.) What is your go-to snack on a dreeeeamy snoozy winter afternoon?
6th March 2-6pm GMT (9am-1pm EST) 🌈 I took @gabimarkhamyoga ‘s training last month and really recommend for straight AND for rainbow-identified folx who want to be more inclusive in their teaching! 🌈 Posted @withregram • @gabimarkhamyoga 🏳️‍🌈CREATING WELCOMING SPACES FOR LGBT+ PEOPLE IN YOGA 🏳️‍🌈 6th March 2pm GMT
Bananas, flaxseed (linseed), walnuts, blackstrap molasses, joy 😀 #NutsAboutNuts 🥜 On this chill Sunday I... 🥰 talked with my mom about everything under the sun 🥰 taught 2 kids yoga classes 🥰 got advice from an author and editor about my children’s book manuscript 🥰 and had a therapy appointment 🥰 I’m feeling equally accomplished about all of these things. HOW are you doing today, truly? Drop a comment or send me a DM. P.S. #DidYouKnow Blackstrap molasses is rich in #iron, #calcium, and #potassium ?? #NowYouKnow
Rooibos agar jello 🧫 2.5 - 3 tsp agar powder, 4 cups boiling water, 1 or 2 rooibos tea bags, stevia or sugar to taste 👌🏻 —> simmer to dissolve the agar completely while boiling. Remove from heat, remove tea bags, and pour into flat pan. Let cool for a couple hours till solid and jiggly. Presented here cut into tiny cubes for bubble tea-esque drinks 🥤 😋
Roasted chickpeas ✨ Here is one of my favourite #lowspoons hearty snack recipes! 🌞 2 cans chickpeas (Ora few cups chickpeas cooked from dry) 🌞 2 Tbsp soy sauce or @bragg amino acids 🌞 curry powder or chilli powder 🌞 optional: 1 Tbsp olive oil 1️⃣ Strain the chick peas and lay them out on a towel with a towel on top for 2 hours or so. This step is not strictly necessary but will help reduce the moisture and make your snack crispier. 2️⃣Optional: Toss in oil. If you don’t, they just won’t be as crispy, and the flavour might not be quite as strong, but they will still be so good. 3️⃣ Cover a cookie sheet or tray with parchment paper or tin foil, and lay out the chickpeas in one layer. 4️⃣Bake at 425 F for about half an hour (maybe more or less depending on how dry they are), taking them out and tossing them halfway through so they don’t stick. 5️⃣ When they seek aaaalmost done but not quite, toss with soy sauce or @bragg ‘s aminos and your spices. Use more or less spices as suits you. Bake for another 5 minutes or so and enjoy! 😋 🤤😻
Fam, I know these posts are not super attractive and maybe I’ll stop soon but OHMYGOSH feijoa-flavoured agave jello is the best. A Tbsp or two of freeze-dried feijoa powder into the pot 👌🏻 👌🏻 👌🏻 Did you know agar is 70% fibre? 🤯 I feel so good when I eat it (with plenty of water!!!!) omg 😂
Mama made delicious chilli with quinoa! Yum 😋
Green tea jello 🍵! #OnARoll 😋 Literally all this is is 2.5 Tbsp agar powder, 4 cups boiling water, a pinch of stevia (or your could use sugar or syrup), 1 tea bag or teaspoon of loose leaf in a strainer 🫖 —> pour into a glass tray to cool (without the tea!). Slice and enjoy 👌🏻 Comment what flavour I should try next! ⬇️⬇️⬇️
Black cherry jello 😋 Literally all this is is 2.5 Tbsp agar powder, 3.5 cups boiling water, 1/2 cup juice 🍒 —> simmer for a minute and pour into a glass tray to cool. Slice and enjoy with perhaps (as I did here) some jam on top 👌🏻
