This is a very important article for white women like me to read. There are heaps of great links towards the bottom of the article of tangible things we can do to break the cycle of systemic racism, including but not limited to going to protests, donating supplies to protestors, reading and sharing anti-racist literature, and signing petitions. For most white women, it is easy for us to look away because racism does not directly affect us. Silence is complicity. We need to do better.
